Münster, the lively student city in the heart of Westphalia, has a feel-good character. It is not only Germany's No. 1 cycling capital, but also one of the most liveable cities in the world. The award was presented in 2004 at the LivCom Awards, where Münster was the first major German city to take the top spot in the category of cities with 200,000 to 750,000 inhabitants.
