Intergeo 2021 Hybrid

Smart City, digital administration, mobility and green data - under the theme "Inspiration for a smarter world", this year's INTERGEO brought together relevant players from the geo industry, both physically and virtually, to discuss and inform about current geo trends.

As a hybrid event, INTERGEO CONFERENCE and INTERGEO EXPO took place both live in Hanover and on a digital platform. This way, con terra was also represented twice as an exhibitor. While we were very pleased to see both familiar and new faces in Hanover, we are aware of the advantages of a digital trade fair presence in order to reach an international audience.

The lively exchange at our booth in Hanover, as well as the number of visitors to our digital presence, showed us that our topics meet strong interest among our customers. We placed a special focus on the following topics:

• Apps for web and mobile 
• 3D Apps and WebGIS
• Making Sharing Data Smarter, Easier and More Secure
• Interoperable data exchange for BIM
• Quality assurance for geodata
• Digitisation of the administration (OZG)

After INTERGEO is ahead of INTERGEO: Even though this year's INTERGEO in Hanover took place on a much smaller stage than we are used to, it was great to have the opportunity to talk to customers and interested visitors in person. We see it as a foretaste of next year, when we will hopefully meet again in Essen in greater numbers. We are already looking forward to it.
