A new chapter is beginning at con terra: Effective July 1, 2026, after more than 17 successful years, Karl Wiesmann and Uwe König have handed over management to Christian Elfers, Christian Heisig, and Christian Sehlleier. With the appointment of these three long-standing executives, con terra is implementing a carefully planned generational transition—while ensuring continuity in corporate leadership.

Leadership from within 

As long-standing members of con terra’s senior management team, Christian Elfers, Christian Heisig, and Christian Sehlleier have played a key role in shaping con terra’s development for many years.  With their promotion to the executive board, con terra is deliberately relying on leaders from within its own ranks.

A clear sign of this growth: The number of employees has quadrupled during their tenure, reaching more than 260 today.
