From version 2022.0 onwards, FME will be available exclusively as a 64-bit version. The manufacturer Safe Software is expected to provide patches for the 32-bit version of FME 2021.2.x until 2026, so that a stable 32-bit version will also be available in the medium term (further information can also be found at: https://community.safe.com/s/article/FME-32-bit-Windows-Continued-Support). Recommended Hardware Requirements

Pentium® 4, AMD Opteron or newer with 8 GB or more of RAM and 20 GB of available disk space. The latest hardware environment with additional memory, faster CPU and disk will have a significant impact on the processing time.

Note: You can easily scale FME Server's processing power by purchasing additional FME Engine licenses. For optimal performance, we recommend that each engine have a dedicated core. If you want to deploy FME Server without the constraints of hardware, contact us on FME Cloud.
